IE and blogger

I'm running 8.1 and IE is having problems with blogger. I can't upload pictures and the cancel button is unresponsive. For eg I accidentally click on upload video and I can't cancel to go back to writing. Pictures seem to upload but the OK button is unresponsive to paste it to the post.

I tried UC browser and it can't even access my gallery to upload photos.

Is IE somehow incompatible with blogger? Is Microsoft somehow ignoring important website compatibility?

Please tell me there is a way to get blogger to work and that I didn't waste my money.

I don't know what MS is doing as it relates to it browser but one thing for sure, they need to get a team on it. On my surface, some videos on the MSN website won't even play when I'm on my Surface RT.
