so I ran into some trouble back in July with Internet Explorer 11 with youtube when I was forced to use HTML5 instead of flash. All the options went leaving only 360p and 720p options available. I found threads on google's community forums saying set youtube to compatibility view for youtube which worked and allowed me again to watch videos using flash, which brought back all the options 240, 360 1080p up to 4K again. That all changed at the end of July when that option no longer worked and it would automatically play in HTML5 player.

Strange thing is I get all the options up to 4K or even 8K in IE9 on vista as flash is used and all the options in IE11 on Windows 8.1 and 10.

I tried resetting IE and reinstalling flash, but does anyone know whats going on? Why is Windows 7 only effected are they trying to force upgrade people to Windows 10 or is this something google has done?

I am still trying to figure this one out. Maybe they are deliberately dumbing down oe11 on win7. Full screen doesn't work anymore either and lots.of sites have performance issues also ie11 freezes a lot now days.
