Lenovo and Razer are having a love child, the Lenovo Ideacentre Y900 RE (Razer Edition). The baby will be out in June, 2016. Like all precious bundles of joy, it'll cost you. Starting at $2,299.

Make no mistake, this is aimed at gamers and is meant to try and lure them away from custom built rigs. But at the same time there is room to expand this box and make it your own.

Let's start with what Razer brings to the collaboration:
  • Razer triskelion badging on the front, along with customizable Chroma lighting effects
  • Razer BlackWidow Chroma keyboard
  • Mamba Tournament Edition Chroma gaming mouse
  • Razer tuned overclock on the 6th gen Core i7
To complete the package, Lenovo offers the following:
  • up to two Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 4GB graphics cards
  • 256GB SSD SATA III
  • HDD up to 2 TB + 3 additional bays to accommodate 3.5 or 2.5" Hard Disk Drives
  • 4 DIMM slots and up to 32GB DDR4 RAM
  • 7.1 Surround Sound with Dolby Home Theater
  • DVD RAMBO / BD RAMBO Optical Drives
  • Up to 625 Watts power supply with room enough to swap in a 1,000 Watt PSU
  • WiFi, Bluetooth
  • Rear Ports: 2 x USB 2.0, 4 x USB 3.0, 1 Giga LAN, 1 HDMI / 1 VGA / 1 DVI, 6 Audio Jack with SPDIF (7.1 Surround Sound), 1 PS/2 Combo
  • Front Ports: 7-in-1 Card Reader (SD / SDHC / SDXC / MMC plus / MMC / MS / MS_Pro), 2 x USB2.0, 2 x USB 3.0 (1st port support always on USB charging), 2 Audio / Microphone Jack
  • Tool Free Transparent Side Panel so you can ogle all your goodies
  • A clutter-free 49 L chassis and internal cable routing

Some serious stuff in there. Is it hardcore enough? Are you not entertained?
