How do I move music from phone storage to SD card on a mac

I recently bought an SD card for my Lumia 520 phone after running out of space due to music.
Apps will not install onto the SD card, which would be fine but I can't find a way of moving my music from the internal phone storage onto the SD card using a mac, or on the phone itself.
Does anyone know how to do this?

Install Windows phone app for desktop, plug in your phone, browse files = you'll see phone and SD card on computer/disc drive link
( or just connect your phone and open Computer/disc drive page)
open Phone in another window find music file,
go back to the WPA and browse files, open SD card and with both windows open drag and drop music to music file folder on SD card,
if there isn't a file create one.
But be sure in SETTINGS ( on your phone) phone storage format SD card if you already haven't ( if you have files you can't or you'll lose them) and then
make sure "store new music... on SD is showing.
