I had the same issue with my brand new SP4. Had to send back. Got a new one and now have issues with screen freezing up. My SP3 keeps working just fine.

Re: Windows 10 Mobile 144393.576 ( non insiders discussions) Surface Pro 4 locks up solid when trying to enter sleep mode. I had to set it to never sleep so it will still work. Sleep has never worked well in the history of Microsoft so I guess they just wanted to continue their record.

I haven't looked at Ally as an option but I haven't found as much need since I just work around it. Truthfully, I either use the Ipad at home or make my wife do the deposits. Not really a showstopper. I may at some point switch and glad to hear they are good to go.
