It is random. If I have, let's say, 3 programs open, then it will sometime close all three. Sometimes only one. I don't close my lid. The programs close when my screen goes black.

You cannot create dark accent color on windows phone yet. But it is possible on PC. However, we are talking about phone. So, to choose more colors on phone, go to settings, then to personalise and finally color scheme.
