Duo 2 builds upon Duo 1 nicely and addresses all my gripes with Duo 1. I'm definitely purchasing Duo 2 when on sale at Best Buy. Obsidian black.

I'll will check, but I haven't installed apps or even bothered to check for updates on my 950xl for at least a year. Not sure the apps I use are still available on store. I should probably create a back-up just in case.

I still use my 950XL as a media device for podcasts to get away from ads. It surprisingly still works as a phone, texting and emailing. Iheart radio still works. I really haven't been using the browser for over a year now so can't comment on browsing.

I have a 950XL I can unload. 1 yr old, purchased off ebay for 250 last year in late Aug. Works great. I'm just using for gps and some in car media functions nowadays. I can easily do the same with my Idol 4S.

On my V40, Here is not an option under default apps. In fact, maps is not even listed. The above procedure doesn't work on my V40. I just get Google Maps and Edge browser as options to use as default maps. If anyone figures out how to get Here maps listed as an option for default map app...
