Cortana is back in full effect as of this morning for me as well. The only thing I can think of was switching off "read aloud incoming text messages" under speech settings. However, I switched it back on afterwards, and Cortana still worked.

Experiencing same issue on 1020 after cyan update. I am able to type but not speak to Cortana. I had no previous issues on the developer 8.1. I tried the above solutions but none worked for me. I hope Microsoft figures this out soon.

Is there a way to swipe your songs on the lock screen itself (without having to enter music player or switch tracks using arrows)? I used to have this function on Android and really miss it.

Are you referring to Nokia PC Suit? How did you do this?
