I have witnessed very slow app updates via the store, disabling Defender resolved it.

Windows Defender is getting very low scores in the AV tables, I switched to Avast (free) as defender updates were stopping MS Update from completing, since switching to Avast I have so far not had any issues. -- Sent from my iPad Air 2 (wi-fi 128GB) using Tapatalk

Microsofts list says Denim is available in the UK for the 1520 with O2 but when I search for updates it says Not found, I'm running the dev preview so do I have to remove this to get Denim or should I wait a bit longer. Also will Windows 10 preview negate the need to update to Denim?

My Surface i7 was in the loft room with the door open and I was standing on the landing below and the fan noise could easily be heard.

Yes all the games saves are in the cloud, when you first launch the game on a new/reset console it downloads the data before the game loads.

It's the first thing I turned on when getting Cortana, brilliant feature, I used to have to mute the sound every night then remember to unmute in the morning, now it is automatic.

I don't find the option there on my 1520.

It takes a while but eventually finds the update, just wait a bit longer.
