Well it does have 1 GB of RAM vs 512 MB. I think the GPU uses the system memory. It doesn't have it's own dedicated memory. I also wish they could have gone with a Snapdragon 600, but Windows Phone doesn't support it. I'm guessing the device was in development over at Nokia before the sale was...

Where did you buy it from? Are you sure it's a RM-985 and not a RM-984? The seller could have been mistaken.

I think there's something like that for Android called MightyText. That's because Android allows other apps to access your text messages/replace the default messaging app. It's rumored that in WP8.1 you'll be able to replace your default messaging app, so maybe an app like this may be possible...

I have this problem too on my 920. I'm surprised I can't find any other reports about this--I guess it's not a common problem. Is there any way we can tell Nokia so they can fix it?
