I use a Lumia 822 with Gorilla Glass 2. I originally had a Verizon brand screen protector, but it was so terrible I removed it. No scratches ever since.

That's definitely not an Ativ S, the shape and home button are more rounded. It looks like a Galaxy S4. Also, it's right next to a MacBook Pro.

In the Ease of Access settings, there is a new option called mobile accessibility. It requires an app to be used (Strangely not made by Microsoft) This app provides a voice guided, simplified interface for those with visual impairments. It has very simplified versions of commons apps.

Yes, when you want to download an app you already bought, just click buy in the store and it will say the app was already purchased and let you install it free. You can also go to Settings>Backup>App List+Settings to create a cloud backup to restore in case you have to reset or get a replacement...

For #3, you could pin a large messaging tile and add messaging to your lock screen, so would always be reminded about unread texts, but you can't get duplicate push notifications
