Yes. It works the same way. Go to storage check of SD card and click on app and select move. It'll move to internal memory.

Do you have 3g signals where you live? Sometimes if the signal is weak it switches to 2g.

You can turn off automatic updates in store setings but for individual apps, it's not possible. If you want to do the same, I'd advice you to turn off auto update and update all apps manually.
