Working fine on 14.04 now. Needed to install the wireless card driver but that's it.

Seems like I'm done with Windows now. The whole idea of not being able to refuse updates that keep breaking stuff (at least on my current machine) is making the whole experience worse than ever, not to mention driver issues even on MS's homegrown devices. Right now using mainly Ubuntu and W10...

I'm now noticing that when I flick the airplane mode on, double tap to wake just doesn't work at all or seldom works. I'm on Denim with GDR1.

As a suggestion for this Windows 10 Launch, the 8.x Single Language edition should be gone for good. I just got a new laptop and realized I couldn't change language after the fact (because using English is too boring lol). Another consequence is that I can't get the handwriting panel to work...

I've seen a few new Asus TP300L for sale around here, and they all have the same specs: Core i3-4030U, 4GB, 500GB HDD and Integrated graphics. At $490, it's quite a steal considering where I live. My doubts though is whether I can add another 4GB RAM stick or not, and whether the CPU is enough...
