I have had the 650 for a few days now and I am impressed. Either my 930 was slow and lagging heavily or this is a nice phone. Yes it is a little slower, but not much; battery is much better. Now I only really use stock apps but this is a real smooth experience.

Just ordered the 650; can't wait to try it out. My 930 is just constantly hot with any sort of web use and i think it may be time to swap out. You think this is an ok substitute for a 930 when i really don't use it for anything, no games, no photos, no apps - just plain phone, messaging...

What is the screen brightness at night like compared to the 930? Can it be set lower so as to not to light up the entire room?

I have the same issue on the 930 - it is way too bright at night time. It can light up an entire room even on low.

Thanks. I was wondering about that. It definitely did speed it up to being around the same speed as the microsoft camera.

Lumia camera very slow I am on the l930 with all the latest updates (even todays Lumia camera update). While I find camera360 really fast and Microsoft camera fast, Lumia camera takes over a second between shots. Anyone else have this issue? Are there certain settings I should use? Thanks

I found that in profile, i get the heat but not when I use the phone in landscape. It must be the way I hold the phone, covering the bottom right corner with my hand causing the build up of heat.

I tried using the internet for the same timeframe but in landscape, not in profile, and I didnt get any heat generated. It must be the way I hold the phone in profile that causes the build up.

Well, that's the thing. It gets hot just on that corner, the rest is ok. So I am not sure if this would be considered overheating or not. It seems to be mainly when using the web browser.

how to tell if the battery is getting too hot I have a Lumia 930 (denim) and I find the bottom right corner gets hot when I use the phone for extended periods of time (more than 20 mins browsing the web etc). How do I know if this is normal or if it is a system issue? I know of overheating...
