My 950 got an update last night. I was hoping this would start working again... but no. Luckily Cortana still works in my car. I have had Windows phones since 2014 and love it. I really don't want to switch. Please save us.

Cortana used to show updates on my interests when I press the search button on the start screen. But all I get now is the stock ticker update, nothing else. What happened? :eck:

When I went to online-pick-up window at Kohls, I noticed their handhelds' UI looked like Windows Mobile. Brand name said Bluebird. They indeed make Windows embedded devices!

Do the Surface Go tablets run the W10M or a different version altogether? Won't they need these new features? :straight: Just wishing to get these new features on my 950.

I have had 950 since it was released and still love it. I use these apps all the time multiple times a day: WhatsApp, News (MSN, guardian, Converge) Outlook, Podcast, Camera (multiple apps), Weather, Groove, Spotify. Few times a day: OneNote, HomeRemote, Alarm.com, Skpye/Messaging, Money...

I have a 950. I was thinking of "upgrading" myself to my spouse's barely used 950XL that has a cracked screen. I could buy a new one instead of trying to fix the cracked screen but I hate to waste such a nice phone.

Dropped the phone and got the screen cracked on the lower right. Works fine and no issues with touch sensitivity or gestures but would like to get the screen replaced. Please advise.

Re: Should i return to Windows Phone? They started releasing PWA apps. Uber, Twitter, etc got a new life now. Microsoft news app is great but if you want an alternative, try theguardian. Still love my 950 for productivity, Cortana on the car and many more.

Why couldn't MS make their apps compatible on all their devices? I see several apps constantly getting released for mainstream Windows 10 editions, but not for mobile. They may not care about us Windows Phone believers, but there are still some Windows tablets in the market running Windows...
