Word of caution if you are considering buying Idol 4S from Canadian Microsoft store. Mine needs warranty repair, but Alcatel repair center claims the phones are from US and won't honor the Canadian Warranty - Microsoft store no help either. Trying to get this resolved is painful ! [sigh]

Anyone else seeing major slowdown in the Camera app when using HDR with Insider Builds ?

It's a warranty issue, the problem has gotten worse and worse and now the device won't connect or charge at all. I'm currently fighting with Alcatel to get the thing fixed.

Yes I swapped out the cables, I AM using the original wall charger. I also attempted to clean out the port and have not found any lint.

Anyone else experiencing issues with the USB C port? When I plug into charge it's getting more and more sensitive to the cable placement and regularly disconnects if the cable isn't perfectly lined up?

I bought pro-shot, it isn't any faster but the screen stays on as it processes the shot which gives the illusion that it's faster. Proshot also takes some pretty darn good pictures.

I've just noticed that mine isn't charging fully when plugged into the Microsoft Continuum Dock or via cable attached to a PC. I've tried different cables but get the same result. It gets to 90% and disconnects. No charging LED or icon. If I unplug and then plug in again it'll start charging...

I hope we get fw updates, but I have a feeling we won't.

The 4S speakers are awesome ! I was very disappointed with the B&O speaker on the X3, the 4S are soo good they have changed the way I listen to music and podcasts. I never bother using an external speaker now.

not experienced any issues like that myself, I've had my phone (on insider builds) for about 2 months.

Is anyone else on the fast insider ring on their 4S? Have you noticed that HDR photos have gotten dramatically slower (around 7 seconds per image)? Do 3rd party camera apps help? ProShot for example?

I'm running on fast insider ring and that has dramatically reduced the number of false cortana launches - but HDR photos now take around 7 seconds ! Anyone else noticed that ?

Error 8007002 on my 950XL. 15025 downloads, but when device tries to restart it displays this error. Any suggestions?
