The reason i choose big back button is for touch users, if you put small tiny button, it will be hard for people to touch, and they are taken from IE, I made the design so that the button should be reasonable and big enough for both desktop and tablets, i kept the design minimal, while consuming...

windows phone 8.1 has great UI, but needs some polish, but windows 8.1 has the worst UI. specially the mix of metro and traditional desktop, and they thought people would love those full screen apps ON PC!!!! and those big clunky fonts and wasted spaces on a desktop app really makes it...

WOW, everyone is seem to put up the quality vs quantity argument, let's be honest windows 8.1 or windows phone 8.1 lacks both quality and quantity of apps, how much quality apps are there on windows phone or windows 8.1, if you search through the market, you will see tons of fake or web wrapper...

I don't think there is a fix. It is a common problem with WP, without Wi-Fi you can't download big files in 2G. Unless you have 3G ofc, but 3G is also limited for 100MB file.

i agree with you. i think they should give user choice to pin on desktop and also pin on start menu, whatever you like or choose booth. everyone happy. :)
