Hearing a joke will always brighten my day.

I went through with a hard reset (no restore) and finally things are settling a bit. It had me worried for a while as the device started freezing while I was working through all the privacy settings, and resuming from lock screen/sleep was a bit delayed at times. I find it hard to complain with...

I'm trying not to go the factory reset route, but my impatience may get the better of me. :)

Hmph. Looks like Outlook mail sync isn't working, either. It shows up on my phone and usually shows up on my PC on or about the same time. Not today. UGH.

My Bluetooth availability is gone as well. I cannot re-pair my phone to my car system. Settings-Devices-Bluetooth just flashes and closes again. SIGH. I guess I could factory reset or just wait for the next build. :cry:

Hobbies?! Geez, I forgot what that's like. These days, it's all about herding cats, aka crisis management for me. What I remember as fun.....hanging in the forums, home improvement around my former house (all I need is a nail gun, hammer, a small saw, and silicone, and I'm good to go), and...

So far, so good. Granted, I did a hard reset after the last firmware update, but maybe that helped clear out issues I had. I still see a bit of lag when trying to close the camera after taking pictures, and a delay when scrolling through notification settings, but at least everything else works...

It's definitely different (and that's not a bad thing!)! I'm still goofing around with it, but a few gut-level impressions: -Using it on IE 11 (yes, I still use it!) was a complete crash. Nothing lined up, or was in any sort of format. I blame IE 11. -On Edge, so far so good. I'm going back...

This build is the first one in a long time that hasn't given me any problems! Mail syncs just fine, Cortana is working well, and even Edge is working! Of course, now that I say this, things will go wonky! :sweaty:

I see the microphone for messaging dictation. So far, I haven't had any problems with this build, which is a nice change.

Battery drain is the only problem I have with this build. I've gone through all the settings I can think of, turning background apps off, etc., and it's still pretty high. 950XL

I think the dial is pretty cool, but if I had money to burn, I'd get the Studio. *Dazzled* I could use a new laptop, the Surface i7 looks very tempting.
