Gotta say, if it were me and you were really interested in the 900, wait a few months until WP8 comes out, then get one off Ebay or Craigslist for cheap. The value of them should go down a good bit by then when people are looking to upgrade.

I've noticed this as well, but only when I've left WiFi on, but not connected to a network. For example, I had WiFi on at work yesterday, connected, and my battery was fine (60% or so). I forgot to turn WiFi off when I left. I went to dinner at a place that had a few different WiFi networks...
