Thanks guys, it was the focus assist light.

The flash won't actually illuminate if I take the picture when it's set to off though which is good. This happens both in Lumia Camera and the Microsoft camera.

When I take a picture and press the capture button half way down to focus, the flash will always illuminate, even if I have flash set to "off". Is there any way to fix this? Running 8.1 dev prev.

I'm in the same boat, had to reset my phone. I hope it's just being updated.

Was 6snap pulled from the Store? I just had to reset my phone and when I try to use 6snap it says Item not available. On Lumia Icon dev prev

Re: Lock Screen button not working I'm having a similar problem on my Icon. The sleep/wake will not "sleep" the device, or wake it up. If the screen times out, the phone will shut off, and it takes a few long presses on the sleep/wake button to turn it back on. It's also been very sluggish.

It sounds like you are trying to update via the phone's settings menu. However, it is supposed to be done via the Zune software (which is why he says to launch it first and then click on Phone > Settings > Update). Do this through Zune on your computer, not through your phones menu.
