If W11 can run android apps does that mean.....

They have always shied away from defining the Duo as a "phone", I always found the Android on the Duo to be strange, but a Duo like device that can dock (note the emphasis given to the docking abilities in the w11 launch) and can run Android so it gets around the "there's no apps" criticism that...

If W11 can run android apps does that mean.....

If Windows 11 can run Android apps, does that mean that the Duo 2 could be a Win11 machine? We've already seen the leaked version running on a Lumia 950. Google must be quite upset. Facebook probably isn't thrilled that Teams is about to land with a pre installed user base of billions...

So what are the implications of designing Win 10x into Windows?

While much of the coverage has focused on the demise of Windows 10x the part that gets mentioned in passing without saying much is that the 10x functionality will be built into mainstream Windows 10. But what does that mean? Is Windows going to run in containers as a matter of course? Will...

What does "success" look like for the Duo?

So what do you guys think "success" looks like for this device. It's hardly a mass seller. It's Gen1, expensive, a mediocre camera and no 5G, and yet it offers a different approach to the rest of the phone market. From a marketing point of view it's instantly identifiable, and is likely to...

    Customer Management/CRM

I'm a self employed photographer, I'm looking for a simple solution to a small CRM ideally using Microsoft Office products. Outlook used to have a "Customer Manager" app but it seems to be being abandoned. Can anyone point me in a direction that doesn't include going to a commercial monthly paid...

Whatsapp on Windows Phone going away.... "Last call gentlemen!"

Ok the WhatsApp was the nail in the coffin, one day before the deadline I've moved over to Android. Sigh..... Windows 10 mobile had such potential.

Do you think you need to open the Duo all the way to answer a call?

Having a bit of a thought on this, do you have to always open up the Duo all the way to answer a call? It seems like a lot of work? On a standard phone you can do it at a glance, maybe touch the phone once and put it to your ear. Here you have to pick up the device unfold it all the way and...

    The Camera!

I see Panos now saying it will have a great camera, I think you have to consider the Duo to be prototype hardware. I wonder when there will be a Developers version available for sale?
