After Latest W10 Update, laptop WiFi is slow as molasses

Anyone else having this issue? My WiFi is either incredibly slow or sites don’t respond when I click on something. Any help with this would be great. Thanks!

Need a barebones 7-8" tablet recommendation

I saw those on Amazon for a decent price. Do all of the windows 10 updates slow it down given its specs? But if only OneNote is being used probably a moot point?

Need a barebones 7-8" tablet recommendation

Thanks a ton for taking the time out of your day to respond. Much appreciated. I'll take a look around ebay. I've heard good things about the Dells.

Need a barebones 7-8" tablet recommendation

Long story short, the USB port on my ASUS Vivotab Note 8 went belly up and its $180 to repair. I need a tablet for work to specifically run OneNote and updates in Excel and that's about 90% of what I'll need it for. What recommendations do people have for less than the $180 repair fee? Thanks!!!

    Get SSD or new Laptop?

Looks like New Egg has some Surface 3 4gb/128gb models as well. Just not sure about a 10" screen.

    Get SSD or new Laptop?

I've got an Asus laptop that I really like (15.6", 6gb RAM, 1Tb HDD, i5 processor) but it is slowing down. It's only two years old and it's a bit big. I'm wondering if I'm better off getting an SSD drive to spruce it up or cut my losses and get something new. I'm also thinking of taking it in...

Have an upgrade, pondering return to WP

Good piece of tech, but if I ever tried android it would have to be a pure version of the OS. That is supposed to be really stable and fairly reliable in terms of getting updates.

Have an upgrade, pondering return to WP

I went to my local MS store last week to play with all of the phones. I liked the 950, 950xl and the 640xl (which surprised me.) The more I compared apples and (WP) oranges, the more I realized if I did get a WP, it would have to be a secondary device to play around with. For my business needs...

Have an upgrade, pondering return to WP

Here's the deal, I was a WP supporter (I think I was even an ambassador here on the site, don't remember) from back in the day. I'm talking when the Lumia 800 "Amazing Everyday" campaign was running (better than iPhone and Samsung ads for sure!). Had the Focus, Optima, Lumia 900, HTC Surround...

Advice on a new Windows tablet

My Vivotab Note 8 went kapoot (USB port broke) and I've got the choice to pay $180 to get it fixed, or use that to get something else. At $180, I get a pretty nice tablet back. That could go toward a new one too. Or I could use that to put an SSD in my laptop. If I go for another tablet, I'm...

Trying to Decide Between Four Tablets: Asus, Toshiba, Dell, Lenovo

The USB port went kapoot on the Note 8 and it will be $180 to get it fixed. I'm debating on resurrecting it or using that for a new Windows tablet. I like it, powering it on and off can make me nuts, but other than its a solid player.
