Rev 0002 blue OEM (from Clove) - all four corners are black and some slight discolouration on the back. It's such a shame :(

I tried an alcohol based cleaner and I had no success :( I guess I'll have to live with the black corners and it's such a shame that HTC didn't pick up on this!

I bought mine as soon as it was released (import from UK) and I believe it's from the first batch. At least the corners aren't getting any blacker :/

While Cobalt isn't a match, I find the HTC blue is too dark on a black background, making text hard to read (especially outdoors).

yes I have the same issue and it drives me insane. I'm not sure what causes it, I thought it was whatsapp because there's a weird audio API call from within the music app - when you resume a pause song it opens whatsapp but i'm not 100% sure. I really hope this gets fixed and issues like this...

That leak doesn't sound too good :/ At least it explains where it's coming from (rather than it being dirt). Hopefully HTC make an official statement about it?

Yeah I have the same problem, it's an annoying bug with the app. It also seems that the live tile only reflects posts that you've made from the WP8 application :/

Thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately no luck. I'm surprised that HTC didn't pick up on this during their design phase.

I don't think the black marks come off and I've given up trying to clean it off. It's as if it's embedded into the surface, or the surface has come off. If anyone has success let us know!

I've found that if I play music when my 8X goes silent, it fixes the problem (as does a reboot)

I've had this same issue. Sometimes the sound is completely distorted, othertimes it's completely muted even though ring and vibrate is enabled. Hopefully there'll be a fix

I wish my phone looked that good :(
