I doubt that MS will release a smartwatch. Being a semi flop from Apple (didn't release sales numbers meaning it didn't sell well to apple) i think the band and similar products is the key for right now and the next few years. There are too many things going on in and on the apple watch not to...

you would need to search the App Store (Apple), Play Store (android) or the store on windows phone. or another option would be getting the Microsoft Band Sync App for Windows and there is one for Mac. any of these will work with the Band 1 or 2

I agree that if it was being discontinued we would of heard it by now. As to band 3 it probably won't be out till next year from what rumor is saying. And we won't hear about it for a few more months anyways. So I myself would just ignore that best buy rep.

Mine has been funky as well since the new firmware was pushed out. Gone up and down about 6-7 flights only says 1 today(fire alarm went off in the building). Im sure it will get fixed next update I hope.

ok need names for facebook to accept (dont accept random friend requests sorry) and there are a few people on the Microsoft Band skype group that we have facebooked and watching and competing for fun.

you didnt have to lose the bands data. you could of installed the Band Sync App on pc/mac and sync it to get accurate data. ad to the bluetooth you probaby need to take a trip to the MS id you have one or wait a week for turnaround via snail mail.
