Cheers for the reply John, I power cycled the battery a few times and I'm getting slightly more out of it and now I'm taking a powerbank with me for the coffee stops to top up the battery. I normally switch off the display and put it in airplane mode as well just to squeeze that little bit more...

Yep, longer rides of 60 miles + I normally take a powerbank so when we stop for a cafe break I can top it up while the band is paused. Just another thought as well as you can pick up a decent one quite cheap now.

No probs bud, when i first got my band i gave it one full charge upto 100 % for around 8 hrs constant then used it as much as possible till i got the low battery notification at 10% i think. Gave it another full charge and then did the same and it seems to have helped extend the battery a bit...

I can normally squeeze around 4 hrs out in gps power save mode or 2.5 in non power save mode, I usually put the band in airplane mode and then turn the display off rather than have it display my ride data all the time. Seems to work well. Have you tried power cycling the battery?

Do you have a lot of emails coming through? Three months in an mine last's two full days without a problem. Bike rides tend to drain it fast though and the gps power save mode is useless as it doesn't give you accurate information although they do mention that. So power bank comes with me and...

Changed my phone language to french and syncs perfectly again. Apart from Cortana everything works.

Some cracking weather over the weekend so had to get the bikes out. Cold but sunshine and hills soon took care of that.

Wouldn't have it any other way, love W10 and my MS devices. Just enjoyed using Cortana for all the little things and it's surprising how much you actually get used to talking into your band to get things done. I'd rather be in the ms family than be fully entrenched in Android though.

What's even worse is the battery drain, so far I've charged it twice today and I can't see it getting better, no wonder my mates laugh at me with their Android wear devices.

I hate to say it but probably a wise move, after today's MS health update my 950xl has exhausted it's battery twice and the band is giving me notifications from the phone and then about a minute later i get the email notification coming through for the same thing. I love the band's...

What interests me the most about this is the bike speed and cadence sensor, I swop bikes about which is why the Band 2 is so good just select the bike I used on Strava later but this looks more appealing. Hasn't been tested yet with the 950 xl but hopefully shouldn't be an issue.

Just updated this morning as well. Hoped it would have brought Cortana functionality back but it's still the same story. Still get the messages about not being able to reach your phone. Using 950xl on latest insider preview.
