im so bored of android and iphone, im considering returning to the 930, but does it cope ok in 2017, i tried a 950 xl, but it was too big, to plasticy, ok its probably much faster, but is it loads of faster or just a little bit. I've read that windows 10 isnt great on with the 930 and it screws...

I have an iPhone and a Lumia 950 the iPhone is really just a load of screens full of icons ready to launch, yes it has the nice swipe up for quick settings and music controls, the rather bland widget screen to the far left, all nice and functional, apps are just waiting to sap your battery life...

Already returned, couldn't be without the live tiles and dynamic home screen, pin to start, screens full of icons and unhelpful widgets just don't cut it.... there is the apps, but they just annoy me with all the constant adverts.

I think Microsoft support the phone platform more than Android, with the operating system that is, android phones are so badly fragmented, that updates are few and far between, especially if your phone is over a year old and Samsung in particular releases new phones so often that older ones are...

Battery life has settled down very well now everything has finished setting up, seems a lot better than my old note 5, still using an iPhone 6 for some gaming, but the battery life on that is terrible.

Right ok, so I did it today, exchanged my 640 for a 950. Wow what a fantastic device, the screen is far superior and everything speeds along nicely, battery is draining relatively fast, but then its doing its setups so hopefully will settle down. Love the dedicated camera button.

Plus I guess it charges a lot fast yes?

Thanks for the advise. Before I jump in and buy a 950, will the battery life be about the same as the 640

just got a 640 love it, just wondered is the 950 much different in speed cant make my mind up if i want another 5" screen or the huge 950XL, any advice would be helpful.

im currently considering, ditching my note 5 for a lumia 950. i use my dell windows 10 tablet more and enjoy using it more than the note, im not a heavy app user, apart from spotify and viber. i guess software developers dont support windows phone anymore, but overall is the 950 a good windows...

Windows phone 7 and possibly 8 people hub was a joy to use, since then it's just been chipped away at and now useless, what is going on, such a shame.

One drive was the last remaining Windows thing I held on to, since I returned to Android, now my 15gb had been revoked, moving away from Microsoft completely now, they are either struggling financially or just plain stupid, so many options out there for online storage.
