Real space in 500GB hard drive is 465Gb so xbox reserves 100gb for internal usage (recording and stuff). PS4 reserves about 55Gb leaving 409Gb to user. Quite same, don't see problems here. In addition xbox one should allow external HDD:s after its patched so no worries.
