That one will only get reliable 2G on tmobile. You will get 3G in areas where LTE is available, but you will not be able to get LTE anywhere with that variant. Tmobile uses 1700/1900 for 3G and LTE band 4 (1700).

Is the display RGB or Pentie? (if its pentile you should be able to tell by switching the theme between green and red and looking at the edges of the live tiles, there will be a checkerboard effect on the edges in red that isn't there in green due to pentile having 1/2 red and blue resolution)

I always use mine in desktop mode which works great. They don't sell any wp8 phones in the USA with screens small enough to justify the mobile mode which is where it looks like most of the web kit problems arise.

Is it possible to force update to 7.8 on a mac?

Is there a way to install the cab files with a Mac desktop computer? All the tutorials I've seen use windows computers.

Some individual apps can have trouble updating and that can be caused by a different issue. But it looks like a soft reset freezes all live tile updates which can be fixed by don't another normal reboot.

This worked for me, I would always try soft resetting to try and get them to work, which low and behold was just making it worse!

This is how my battery seems to behave too, I think it may be more of an OS problem then a hardware problem, because it seems like certain app tasks get stuck running in the background and the only way to get them to stop is to soft reset your phone. I have not been able to narrow it done to...
