My start screen has become quite laggy since upgrading to WP8.1 GDR1. Thought I'd give it the benefit of the doubt and wait for Cyan. Got Cyan last night, and it's still laggy. The stutter is jarring. Using a Lumia 1020 here. Maybe it's because I have too many live tiles / folders on the start...

This is exactly how I feel. WP8.1 removes a lot of what made WP unique in the first place. If it's going to lose those differentiating factors, then why put up with a sub-par experience?

Seems like the interface is changed to be consistent with android version. I like it for the most part, especially the full width photos.

Had similar problems, but resolved itself. Seemed like a FB server issue. Check again in a few hours.

So there hasn't been any apps announced yet that will make use of the new WP8.1 SDK. Not sure how soon we can expect apps to take advantage of the new SDK, but I thought it'd be a good idea to start a thread to keep track of all updated apps.

Okay, so I had a chance to look at the phone from File Explorer on Windows, and lo-and-behold, the videos are there! So, there's definitely a bug somewhere. The video files are rather large, at around 250mb for the larger ones. Maybe WP8 cannot cope with the large file sizes.

Has anyone had any issues with the recorded video not being saved? Seems like a bug / glitch somewhere that's preventing the video from being saved. The recording phase looks fine, but afterwards, the video cannot be found anywhere. This is done using the Nokia Camera (4.5.1.7) with the latest...
