Pretty unscientific way of going about it I guess but safe to say it does take a beating then. I've dropped mine about 16 times mainly onto paving slabs from about 3 -4 feet and finally got a some scratches on the corner. Still beats an iPhone or Galaxy in the dropping stakes.

Phone and Me icons at the top - Large! Then a row of small chat and email icons, another row of primary contacts, big People tile surrounded by social media smaller tiles. I like to change it every month
It won't switch off as long as the device using it is still connected, your iPad, laptop or whatever it is. Best to manually switch it off so you don't run up a bill.
