I have to agree with the article. I painfully switched to Android, away from an HP Elite X3. It is only because Microsoft is doing everything it can to shut it down. Period. Only one message of confidence and correlating actions - nothing. Microsoft, you have done this to yourself.

Indeed there is a repair manual from HP officially available. Be warned, it will not be worth it, IMO, as it is all glued. I like the idea, though ?????? Can you maybe cover up the rest?

Really, there is nothing to do. If it is no longer in the store, you can not install it. Even if you had the xap / appx file it still needs authorization from the store. And, this has nothing to do with the X3...

I am in. If Windows Mobile does what you need and the size is right for you and camera is not a deal breaker (it is solid and even great in good light), then go ahead.

Using Sygic (for the traffic aware rerouting capability) and windows Maps - all working well. On a side note, it is beyond me, how Windows maps do not offer such a feature.

Same as emmeborn, I am only missing the better camera. I would miss speed, screen and the fingerprint reader, when going back. And the battery.

I am only missing the 950/XL camera. Otherwhise, I would not want to and will not go back.
