Microsoft owes us that have stuck with them since Windows Phone 7 and even beyond!!!

I'm sorry for everyone that is still in Windows Mobile. Does anyone else feel like this site kept your hopes alive much longer than you should have? All the articles about retrenching and the big picture. Definitely kept me a fan too long.

    Why Continuum failed?

It also failed because you had to carry around a keyboard, mouse, and a docking station to make it work. Basically, you had to carry around the equivalent of a small laptop to have less power for the same price.

Why Don't Microsoft just tell the truth?

Back in 2015 when they announced the end date for WM, everyone was like, "No you don't understand Windows is going to be on every device. You'll have it on your watch, your phone, your tv, your xbox, your pc, your car, and even your fridge." I left and tried to help convince others to leave too...

W10M is dying right in front of my eyes :-(

I find that if you try to make something emulate something else, you get a poor experience. Essentially, you spend hours handicapping the things that make one device useful to make it not function like the device you want it to be.

W10M is dying right in front of my eyes :-(

...and from consumers. It's like neither consumers, microsoft, oems, or devs want the phone to succeed.

Should I stay or should I go

I would suggest picking the one you think you will like. I switched to Android and am happy. My wife switched to iPhone and is happy. My recommendation is that if you want simplicity, go for Apple. If you want to customize a little more, go with Android. If you go with Android I would suggest...

This Might Just Be The Final Straw

People barely accept changing plugs because they aren't backward compatible. The fact is that even if backward compatibility is tough for a company, you can't sell a device and then drop support for a basic feature a year later and expect high user retention. I have read multiple people write...

    What Is THIS!?!

I think it is a hexadecimal based code...If I'm correct, it reads, "All your base are belong to us" repeated over and over. Hope this helps.

Had it with the Surface Pen

I know that there have been some improvements from the Surface 3 pen to the Surface 4 pen, but I am definitely sick of my Surface 3 Pen. I was skeptical with the transition to N-trig from Wacom and have used it for over a year now. I do think that it tends to perform better at the edges of the...

Lack of mainstream educational classroom apps on W10M?

I used to use the same logic the OP has for trying to get apps to the system. You either like W10M as is or you choose something else. The apps I need for my work have been missing for as long as I used WM. Makes me mad that they develop then abandon a hardware or software system...means...

Did Facebook stop updating the FB app for mobile?

Isn't the facebook app universal windows app?

    Seriously considering jumping ship.......HELP?!

^^^This I'm considering going the chromebook route or a linux route. Only thing holding me back is honestly games and Photoshop. I'm currently thinking it would be easier to run a shell of Windows 7 within linux just for the use of photoshop or experimenting with gimp to see if it serves my...

Surface Pro 4, a very expensive frustation

I would suggest changing your browser and abandoning groove. I don't want to endorse a particular browser, but Edge is inferior to the competition. I hated to admit it. For the longest time I used Edge, but gave up when it wouldn't load some common webpages I visit well enough. In short...
