It's not about receiving notifications for new messages. There are no new messages. The notification simply used to popup. Now with the recent update, it's gone. I do not know how else to explain that it is not related to SMS or the default Messaging app.

The recent update to Movies and TV app (10.17042.14211.0) brought Media Server browsing capability to PC and Tablet. Why wouldn't such a simple feature work on mobile ? VLC and Smart Player has Media server browsing capability on mobile.

I forgot to mention it was for PC. Store updates/downloads apps 3 at a time. The queue system is like that. In 8/8.1 the queue was like 1 at a time. Apps got updated/downloaded faster. Bandwidth was not congested. Irrelevant for my question. Maybe someone else has an answer.

How to go back to just downloading/updating one app at a time. For me, with limited bandwidth, it is a pain to get apps downloaded/updated. What was wrong with one at a time download/update back from the 8/8.1 days ? If someone knows about a registry edit or a group policy for this, please do...

The freezing problem happens on cold start (fresh launch and not resume) with only default 1 tab opening the homepage. On the same tab, when we open a new page (either entering a URL or pressing on a bookmark) , the page is unresponsive (its not website specific).

There is no "conversation" in the text messaging app. See the icon. If it were a text message then the notification icon would have been of the text message icon. However, when I checked notifications and actions settings, I found theses. I don't know what apps they are.
