Every update to Windows 10 Mobile causes me problems with the alarms - I have to change something, like the description then save it again - after that it seems to work.

I am pretty sure Win 10m is backwards compatible to Win 7 format (Silverlight) however you loose some of the new functionality.

Might be worth writing some feedback for that - it does seem more restrictive than it should be.

Is there not going to be a problem that the carriers have to update to Win 10m then MS takes control of the update processes. I am assuming unless its unlocked the release date is irrelevant until the carriers get their finger out.

Just ordered the 950XL to replace the 640 as I wanted a bigger screen. Its a late Christmas present to myself. I am assuming I am too late to get the free display dock? It says the promotion runs in the uk until 31 January 2016

I have just done a clean install - been an insider since day 1 but now am getting activation issues with Windows and Office Error: 0x804fc12 It was fine this afternoon, did the recovery (kept settings but no apps) now its not activating. Done a search and nothing seems to be helping.

Its going to be interesting to see how it develops

From a WP user point of view (and if the developer has done it) everything will be contained within one single store. People are excited to use the tools and those that want to test it will do - those who are going to download paid for apps through dubious methods will do so - the rest of us...

Does the blackberry method use the same app store or is it a separate Android app store ? My take on this (I have tested it just to have a play - but I want to wait for the official released) Once this is up an running developers will submit the apps to the Windows Store not some separate app...
