As I mentioned above, I use a 3rd party calendar called Hope. Ends up if you click on one of the phantom entries in Hope you then have a choice to open that same entry in Mail+Calendar. Delete it, and the duplicate/phantom entries are gone. Not a great solution, obviously, but might help a bit.

I use Hope Calendar and it shows entries I have deleted from Mail and Calendar. So does Cortana. This clogs up my calendar, obviously, and also leads to duplicates (screenshots included). Clearly when I delete an entry from Mail and Calendar it isn't really gone. Does anyone know of a way to...

Me too. This also happens on third party calendars (I use Hope Calendar) even though the built in calendar has no doubles. Any ideas on how to flush the sync and reset everything?

Agreed, closing popups in Edge (and hitting small targets in general) is painful. Not a 640 problem as best I can tell, just the browser. The lack of a decent mobile browsing option is for me the biggest problem with Windows Mobile, and about to reach breaking point status.

Been meaning to ask Saijin_Naib, did you ever find any difference in the new firmware, or was it just to enable OTA W10 upgrades? My 640 is working perfectly but the obsessive part of me wants to be on the latest official firmware anyways.

Thanks for the suggestion! Sadly I am working through outlook.com, and it just can't see Facebook birthdays any longer, even though events show up just fine. Really annoying.

Same, works on Google, not on Outlook. I tried to see if I could sync Facebook to Google and then Google to Outlook, but no luck, because Google doesn't actually put the birthdays on the main calendar.

Yes, birthdays appear normally on Facebook. I did notice that the calendar on live.com has changed look and must have been updated. I'm guessing the update broke something. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon.
