I think they focused on PC first to make the app truly universal as we can see it now scales well on desktop. So that they only have two apps to maintain on Windows 10 instead of four apps which is 2 for PC and 2 for mobile..

Me! I still haven't have given up on this OS. Apps doesn't matter to me and all the apps i need is already here like fb, insta, twitter, messenger. I'm not losing hope about this mobile OS. I'm very loyal to Windows phone and will always do.. I want to continue the journey and I want to see...

I still don't believe that they abandoned the mobile users. And besides that, they activated the app reviews again for the mobile version again which they deactivated last year to prevent us from reviewing the mobile versions of the app. Maybe their open for suggestions now. Let's review and beg...

Yes what i mean is the PC/Tablet apps. They get updated frequently like 2 to 3 times a month. The mobile version has no update since then. Last update for Facebook mobile is November 2016 while Messenger is December 2016. The only FB app that gets frequently updated on mobile is Instagram. It...

Along with Facebook and Twitter and instagram.. After updating Messenger beta for Windows 10 PC it can now look "mobile friendly" mode if the window is resized to look more mobile friendly. ( unlike before the edges will be cut if you resize it to look like mobile mode ) Now makes me think...

The beta facebook app for desktop has a new feature. You can "react" to comments instead of just liking them. This feature was present in Android/iOS like 3 days ago too.

Facebook beta apps for Windows 10 desktop is updated tho, just look at those version numbers omg. ( Got the updates today ) So only the mobile version is only left behind. Which kinda sucks 😒

The original poster of this thread is just being negative.. The PC version of the app got updated regularly so i assume those features will come to mobile eventually. Just like last year they will update the app on PC first and when PC is polished and working well, they will bring those fixes...

They didn't drop development for it. If they dropped it they would announce it. They even make messenger users upgrade to Windows 10 mobile by making the 8.1 app unusable so that users will use their Windows 10/mobile app so yeah rest assured they are still working on it 😁👍

I'll bet mobile's big update will arrive this summer I hope.. I have a feeling too that Facebook will become a true UWP app as the desktop app now scales properly when you turn it into a mobile friendly window. This means one app for both desktop and mobile just like instagram and other store...
