Windows10 Wakes after just over a minute sleeping

When I put my machine to sleep it wakes up almost immediately afterwards, I have turned off the wake for keyboard and mouse. Turned off wake on LAN and even unplugged the network cable. The only USB device plugged in is the mouse/keyboard - I did one test unplugging the keyboard/mouse after...

    Calories burned is bogus

I have posted on this topic before. I think that the band underestimates for general living/activities and over estimates for exercise. One data point that gave me pause (tied to the quote above) - I was on vacation for a week and didn't take the band. I wore it again when I got back. I played...

HR readings 1 and 2 minutes after workout

I posted some other references on an old post. But here is one: http://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJM199910283411804 Basically the greater the spread between the ending HR and the 1 and/or 2 minute HR the better the fitness level.

HR readings 1 and 2 minutes after workout

I too don't always get the readings. I think it depends on what you are doing directly post workout and if it can get a good HR lock. Recovery HR is a great indicator of overall health and I love this feature (when it works).

Why did you get the MS Band over other trackers?

I tried the band against several other fitness trackers -polar loop, basis, surge (see my other posts for head to head comparisons). So far I am sticking with the Band. It has the best overall feature set. I think with all current fitness devices you need to take accuracy with a grain of salt...

Calorie tracking - is the band really accurate at all?

I stopped using workout mode for tennis as I felt it really over reported.

Calorie tracking - is the band really accurate at all?

Do you have it in workout mode? In workout mode I think it over reports. In regular mode I think it under reports. Although I am trying an experiment... When you click on the button, in addition to bringing up the display, it takes a HR reading (I think it used to do this on inbound...

Calorie tracking - is the band really accurate at all?

My band seemed to account for non workout activities well (I.e. Tennis), but since the latest update -not so much. I played doubles tennis for 3 1/2 hours this morning and my total burn for the day at noon was under 1000 calories..

    Daylight savings

Make sure you have the band set to automatically adjust time from your phone.

Significantly smaller heartrate and calories in Run activity, lately

I found the HR to be odd after the update. I did a band reset and that seems to.have helped.

    WhatsApp and MS Band?

Both work - I use Whatsapp and get notifications from it there. Also it works with my car BT whilst connected to the band. David

Video / Microsoft Research adds machine-learning enhancements to canned responses

I believe all the cool reply features are limited to Windows phones (for now?)

Improved battery life after recent update?

I too have noticed a huge battery improvement since the last update. I had the band at 80% in the morning. I used it for two workouts and a lot of notifications, slept with it and in the morning it was at 50% when I charged it.
