    Resuming music (mobile)

Mine's doing the same thing - very frustrating. I open Groove - start playing music in my car over Bluetooth. I press the home button (L950) to suspend Groove. Sometimes it picks up where it left off next time I'm in the car - but sometimes it goes back to where it left off the last time I...

    music player

As long as your music is stored on OneDrive, and you create your playlists on OneDrive, they should sync across all your devices. I created the "Music" folder on my OneDrive and put all my MP3 files there. I then went into http://music.microsoft.com and signed in. It had all my music loaded...

    Bluetooth stuttering

Same issue here - everything was fine until the AU on my 950. Then Bluetooth got very flaky. I've hard reset the phone 4 times now - no resolution. I'm hoping some cumulative updates will resolve.

"Hey Cortana" - Any PC users actually still using it?

I enjoy using it. However, my problem is that she responds to "Cortana" even after training. This is on multiple devices (SP3, Lumia 950). She should only respond to "Hey Cortana". So if I'm talking to someone in the room and say: "I should get on the road cuz Cortana told me it would take...

    Bluetooth Control Problems

Lumia 950 - unlocked dual-sim. Production (not insider). Got the AU last week. After the update I did a hard reset (which I usually do after a big update). Set the phone up from scratch. Everything works well except for Bluetooth. When my car connects, or my headphones connect, they cannot...

    Win10 Anniversary and phone notifications

Windows phone must also be on Windows 10 Mobile 1608 build (Anniversary Update) for notifications to sync. Or running an Android phone or iPhone with Cortana installed.

Windows 10 Anniversary Update 14393.10 Discussion (Initial AU build, Inactive)

The only suggestion I can come up with is convert the format to NTFS. On a working PC where you can see the data, run this command: CONVERT D: /FS:NTFS Where D: is the drive letter of the drive that's failing in the AU machine.

Is there an indication of the percentage of PCs which have been sent out the AU?

My SP3 just got it through WU. So it's rolling out slowly.

Windows 10 Anniversary Update 14393.10 Discussion (Initial AU build, Inactive)

Re: Windows 10 Anniversary Update 14393.10 Discussion (Production Ring/Official) What format is the USB stick in? Put it in a device that works - right click on the drive and choose Properties. What's the "File System" set to? NTFS, FAT32, FAT, etc?

Problem with Win 10 cumulative update from 14393.5 to 14393.51

If everything worked for 2 mins, sounds like a service that's starting up Automatic (Delayed). Those services don't startup for about 1 min after the system starts up. Right click on the Start button and choose Computer Management. Go to Services and Applications - then Services. Go down the...

Is there an indication of the percentage of PCs which have been sent out the AU?

I've got a Surface Pro 3 that still hasn't gotten the update via Windows Update either. As it's an SP3, I assume it qualifies for the update from a hardware standpoint. It might be some software I have installed that's stopping it from being offered, or it's just taking a long time to roll it out.

Problem with Win 10 cumulative update from 14393.5 to 14393.51

It may take a few times. If you interrupt Windows startup a few times (I think 3) it will present you with a "Please Wait" and then give you the Windows Startup Repair menu.

Problem with Win 10 cumulative update from 14393.5 to 14393.51

Try a System Restore. Power off the PC. Then power it on. When you see the initial loading ring, power it off. Power it back on. Windows should present you with a diagnostic boot menu. From there you can try Safe Mode, or do a System Restore and take the system back before the update. You...

FYI: IF you use Windows Media Center on 10 with cablecards DONT UPGRADE (anniversary)

They changed the driver signing protection in AU, but that's not supposed to be enforced unless you're doing a clean install - and only on PCs with Secure Boot enabled. Does Device Manager show the cable card installed and OK with the manufacturer's driver?

Secondary Hard Disk Vanishes on AU update!

There must be a commonality between these drives. I've read forum posts on many sites about this issue - mostly coming from Linux duel-booters - but don't see a common thread. Could it be a specific formatting that was done with the drives? Were all the drives formatted to FAT32 or NTFS on a...
