Had been reading about that particular issue, thanks for brining it up! I work IT for a dealership group, so have excellent vehicle support...and opportunity to stumble onto vehicles like this.

Only expecting a very marginal improvement. This ST has the old venerable 4.0 V6, so generally solid motor, but not known for sipping fuel. The trip computer is sitting on 15.8, no idea when it was last reset. The F150 was on 13.5, but it's been spending a lot of time warming up in the...

New to me... Traded the 'ol 2007 F150 SuperCrew in for this primo 2010 Sport Trac. Literally driven by a little old lady who bought it new. Just 60k miles. Although it was a great vehicle and in great shape, just didn't need the size of the F150 anymore.

    Do you love coffee?

A great cuppa from the beans of a small family grower in Puerto Rico.

Nice. Great that you had available space to bump out for the pantry. For the stairs, an old timer I've worked with on some Habitat builds uses a scrap of 5/8 sheathing or roof decking as a guage on stair to wall spacing. But that's on new construction, I take it you were trimming them in place.

Samsung launching foldable device early 2019

It may fold, but it will be a Samsung specific enabling software layer on top of Android.

How will the world be without Microsoft for a day?

200 PC's at work - each with different policy settings and dozens of local login accounts. No thanks...AD and GP are unsung heros in the IT world.

Do I STILL need to buy my own Office Suite?

I maintain both. If you have personal stuff on the corporate side, you can, and in most cases will, be locked out of access to them when you separate employment. Our separation process - even for retirees or people leaving in good terms - includes changing the account password and any...

Your dream car, what's obtainable and what do you own at the moment?

Would love to find a 65 Mustang with a date code of 15H - That would be the same "born on" date as my birthday. Wouldn't mind either a coupe or convertible - unfortunately fastbacks weren't generally available before September '65.

Is Windows 7 still a thing?

Out of 250+ devices, we're 80% Win 10, the rest Win 7, except for 3 MacBooks and an iMac. Handful of iPads, but they're not used for anything consequential.

Is Windows 7 still a thing?

Inertia. It's the tried and true. Forva large IT department, might even be contracted purchasing over a time period given a model that was initially decent at the start of the term. I'm an SMB IT department, so I have a lot more flexibility to not be a slave so much to a common standardized...

Is Windows 7 still a thing?

Partially....given the size of the org, its probably an unwieldly set of Group Policies to process. The number of policies, and any complexity of settings within them, can geometrically affect login time. Published resources like printers and shares add to that as well. I work very hard to...

Does Google treat OEMs better than than that of Microsoft ?

Can it really be said Moto/Lenovo has a healthy relationship with Google? Particularly now that Google is tied somewhat to HTC. Google had to do something to counter the Samsung train, but aligning with an OEM isn't likely great for any OWM not named Samsung or HTC. And yeah, on the PC front...
