    Default notification ringtone?

Edit: I've been told it's Surface Dot I've seen the Surface Duo for the first time in person today and was very impressed. One thing I noticed at two Best Buy stores is that there was no default notification sound set. It was set to "none". So I'm guessing this is a store thing given there are...

Could anyone post the official ringtones and notification sounds?

Hi! So I was hoping someone here could extract and share the official ringtones and notification sounds from the Surface Duo? I'd like to put them on my own phone. And, if I may push it a bit, maybe even the SwiftKey theme? If that's even possible? Thanks

    A petition for outlook.com users!

Alright, well my general feeling both from here and Twitter are that people don't mind those bugs... I guess I'm just nitpicky... so I closed the petition.

    A petition for outlook.com users!

Believe me if I'm starting a petition it's because I've done everything else I could before. I'm a Web developer. So debugging is something I do regularly. Clearing cache and history, checking on more than one browser and computer was the first step. I've had these issues, at least the one...

    A petition for outlook.com users!

I do explain in my petition text what is wrong right now: - Contact pictures not working on the desktop version of outlook.com (the website), they return a 404. - The profile picture disappears randomly. But my problem is more the fact that those issues happen and take forever to get fixed...

    A petition for outlook.com users!

So I'm sharing this here because right now, outlook.com is subpar. I know most outlook.com users are free users and Home Microsoft 365 users, but that doesn't mean that UX should be less important, especially with a competitor like Gmail that works flawlessly whether you pay or not. So I'm...

I made an unofficial Sticky Notes app for Android (webwrapper)

I found it annoying that Microsoft didn't have a Google Keep kind of app for Sticky Notes and that we needed to install OneNote or use the Microsoft Launcher to access them. Both solutions are a little overkill in comparison to having a direct app. Now I'm sure Microsoft will eventually make...

Should I wait for the Surface Duo or switch now and get a random Android phone

Laura Knotek is usually a voice of reason around here. ;) Honestly the Surface Duo looks very cool but is aimed at business users and will be expensive and I don't think many developers will adapt their apps for that screen given the way it works and that just streching the app is not enough as...

This includes browsing data... I don't use it and it only has 13 mb.

    Outlook for contacts on Android

I agree! Plus the calendar has a bug where you can't change the date of a recurring event. They know about it but don't have an ETA. So when using Outlook, if you have aliases like me, you need to setup both the Outlook app and the Samsung app. It's kind of ridiculous. At least Samsung build...

    Outlook for contacts on Android

Indeed it's a lot more reliable except for the profile picture. Those are just completely random. I also had my edge panel wiped with this method. But it's more reliable than the Outlook app, for shame. It should be the other way around.

    Outlook for contacts on Android

But I've got a Samsung Galaxy S9+ and what I wrote is what happens to me. That's even how I knew that contacts were being reset after every update because my contact's edge panel kept being wiped.

    Outlook for contacts on Android

There's no Contacts section in the Outlook app. There is however an option to sync with the Android contacts app. You go in the settings section (the gear icon in the left panel of the app), tap on your account name and you'll see the option there. You'll have to grant Outlook the Android...

A question for other Windows Phone/Mobile converts

So otherwise you're still full Microsoft even on Android? Not necessarily for apps (like Aquamail) but for services? Oh! So you're using Linux or Mac? It works really well! Thanks :) Thanks for the lengthy response! I don't think going to safe mode changes anything. Personally I treat...
