It's funny - I inherited an iphone4 some time ago and someone had put a screen protector on the back. It took TERRIBLE photos until I realized that the screen protector was over the lens. I felt like an ***** after I realized.

Podcast support is fine, but not amazing. In saying that, it's only just gotten decent on the iPhone in the last 6 months. There are several third-party apps that each have their own strengths. Cloud Pod is my favorite so far, but I am sure other people feel differently.

When the Blackberry Q10 is getting a small front-page spot on Verizon and T-MO and the Lumia's are not - that's a concern. It's possible they are not going to start promoting until launch, let's hope so.

Re: Just Got the 928 as a concession phone I guess there is no point cranking up the advertising until launch - so hopefully it's coming. Sounds like a big push internally - hopefully this is the turning point for WP8.

I have a sim in it, but the sim is not activated - I do wonder whether the SIM will expire

This is part of my goal for my 521 - also want to use it for GPS. So far I have not been overly impressed with podcast functionality, but Audible works fine. I'll have to see. I really need a good podcasting app for it to work for me.
