Go with a 4g LTE MiFi device that sends out a wifi signal. Then many devices can use it. All of the major carriers have them. I use AT&T.

CC charge came through this morning for my i7 16gb 256gb sp4

The i7 16/256 and 16/512 are back in stock, but the i7 16/256 has been pushed back to 12/18.

The i7 16/256 and 16/512 are now out of stock. That surprises me. I would think most people would go for 8gb RAM.

It looks like new orders for the SP4 i7s have slipped to 12/4. Still hoping the older orders come out before 11/20.

This is a lovely holdover from SP3. The USB port does not produce enough power to power some USB drives. The only alternative is to get a USB hub with power. I was hoping they would fix this. It should be allowed to power at least 1 drive or we should be given the option to have a full power...

Online orders have always said 11/20 since 10/6, first day to pre-order. Not sure why the stores have been telling people 10/26 for the i7.

The SB uses a 65 watt charger, the SP3 and SP4 use a 32 or 34 watt charger. 65 watt should be enough to charge both batteries at the same time when the clipboard is attached to the keyboard. I think that was the question.

I was in BB in West Los Angeles and heard a sales person tell a customer that they had the SP4 and SB in stock but could not sell them until Monday. He failed to tell her that some if not most of those were probably pre-ordered.

I hope they do come in on 10/26. But, pre-order online has the i7 ship date before 11/20. Earlier would be better.
