A factor here with the P20 Pro is the A.I kicking in with portrait mode and artificially smoothing the skin which is very popular in Asia. I won't try making any excuses fir the grass though. My Mate 10 Pro is much the same and it irritates me

Do it. The lowlight and zoom capabilities are amazing. The monochrome sensor alone is fantastic so there's heaps of camera options.

I do love the Windows keyboard. The biggest thing I miss from it is probably one of the simplest too. When you're typing out an email address, hit the @ symbol and it automatically takes you back to querty keyboard

Everytime I see a Lumia in a movie or TV show I wish I had one again. As much as I loved all of mine and its been over 6 months since I gave up my 950xl I couldn't go back now. The 950's are just too dated now and there's way too many hardware and software features missing for today's standards.

Will do. I'm hoping it's a modern take on the old 1020 to some degree with the oversampling etc. I read that one of Nokia's PureView creators is now head of imaging at Huawei so that should help
