What I find funny is that Ubuntu for smartphones looks more like Windows 8 than WP8 does. All those edge swipes to switch between apps or to view all open apps should've been implemented in WP8. Add in another swipe from the top to close an app and you're golden.

I'm still going for the 820, IMO it offers the best overall package. My only concerns about the 820 are the battery life and the absence of Gorilla Glass.

I might be ok with the weight of the 820 (160gr), but we have to wait untill it hits the stores. The 185gr of the 920 is serious weight to drag around. I do agree that weight adds to the premium feel, to some extent. My ancient 3210 feels sturdy with 153gr, my guess is that 185gr is just too...

Disappointing indeed. I wasn't considering the ATIV S at all, now I'm taking it into consideration. The 920 is just too big, while the ATIV S is roughly the same size I'd choose it over the 920 because of the weight. The Lumia's have all the nice innovations, but the ATIV S covers the basics...
