I wouldn't recommend aftermarket batteries. Seriously, if you have to buy third party batteries, check reviews. Buy reputable.

I have the same phone. Are you on insider preview? Try to soft reset the phone. If doesn't work you may need to rollback to previous version. What build are you on now?

Most likely if it's the original, (first generation is what I an assuming from your post) it will remain out of stock. This is not 100%. So check with MS store. However, from Microsoft's trend, it will not be returning. Amazon or tigerdirect may be a way to go.

Have you tried resetting your phone? I would also check that call volume is all the way up while call is in progress. My guess though is a hard reset should fix the issue. Also, try turning call waiting off, then back on. That helped me once. Hope I was of assistance.

There used to be a way to did load Android apps (.apk) with Project Astoria. However, that has since been canceled. I now believe that method is blocked. As for Whatsapp I'm not sure. Have you tried installing an app to remove junk files. storage cleaner pro is an app that may work.

I have the same issue as well. I think it may be a platform issue. I posted about it in Windows Insider feedback. Hopefully a fix will come soon.

Have you tried changing the region ? Also, what would probably be best is trying a hard reset. Unless this is a known issue in that build.

Why not unlock it and go with a carrier with a similar plan. Metro PCS has plans that are similar and run on T-Mobile. I get service in the country even with T-Mobile. However, I don't know how it is like where you are.

I recall this happening several months back. I simply did a system restore and that fixed it for me.

Turn off phone. Press the power key and volume up key at the same time to turn on the device. This works for Fierce XL.
