I have a surface 3 64GB version as well. Came with 8.1 and upgraded to Windows 10... 2 times. The first installation wasn't that smooth and I reverted back to 8.1. 8.1 is in fact a better tablet OS. Now I'm back to Windows 10 with the latest version. It is working fine and I'm pretty pleased...

I read that the update is only applicable to pro 4 and surface book only.

Windows 10 TH2 and Surface 3 Nov firmware/ drivers update. Work very well now.

Nov firmware update improved the standby time for my unit. It is working very well now. Maybe you might want to reset the windows.

Have you applied the Nov firmware/ driver update? It improves the standby time tremendously.

The keyboard would be too big for surface 3. On top of that, compatibility issues is questionable. Perhaps you can try it out in the store.

It works wonderfully on my unit. Maybe some softwares or apps that are causing that.

After installing Windows 10 TH2, the standby battery life became worse. I found the surface 3 Nov firmware update. This update has improved the standby time tremendously. If you haven't, do download it.

Only July firmware at the moment. Appeared right after I installed windows 10 fall update. Didn't appear while I was with Windows 8.1.

It is an enterprise version. Usually sold to big Enterprise customers. Retail version for general consumers doesn't have this spec. It is essentially the same machine with different spec.
