As a Surface 3 owner, I would say run, don't walk, from this machine. With only 2 GB of RAM, it is unbelievably laggy with W10. Edge barely works at all anymore. Apps constantly just die for no apparent reason. It's too bulky to used as a tablet, and has ****-poor performance as a laptop...

I bought a band 2 largely for the notifications and the golf tracking feature. The notifications are unreliable at best, and the golf tracking feature utterly useless. Now my band is cracked half-way through. Talk about a **** of a product.

Just want to let everyone know that I was able to update to the very latest (14393.67) build easily. Once you have the first Win10 (10586.107) installed, just re-select the Release Preview ring and go to town. Mine went straight from .107 to 14393.5, and then I got today's update. Pretty sweet!

The problem isn't deploying the WPSSystem file; the problem is that there is no longer a PFD app available to replace with the hacked app. People are trying the Extra Settings app in lieu of the PFD app, but so far no joy.

Pretty sure side-loading won't work if the app isn't in the store. We only need a way to write to the registry in order to get our lifeline back. I know that custom ROMs were available for all of the Samsung WP8 devices, so there must be a way to do this. But the stuff I've found at XDA so...

Yep, it works great. The SE is just a clone of the Galaxy S4, so all of the S4 stuff works with it. You will need the charging base as well, I recommend a 3-coil as they are much less futzy about position.

I had the same problem with the phone not getting the updates. I just un-enrolled from the preview, then re-enrolled and selected Release Preview. I'm now on .420.
