Which webcam "slide" cover works with SP7?

That's what I figured. Basically...there is nothing out there. May have to fire-up the 3D printer and come up with something myself...

Which webcam "slide" cover works with SP7?

Without wanting to cover the right-side camera indicator or the left-side IR camera, who makes the best slide cover for the Surface Pros? There seems to be three components on each side of the main camera, and I don't want to cover any of them if necessary?? Extra question: are the front and...

Which Forum to Discuss "Your Phone" Issues?

Samsung S8 and Surface Pro 4. I did log into another PC with my Microsoft account but never paired the phone with that box. I just checked and am logged out of it completely - so I'm just in a 1-to-1 setup with phone and tablet. It's still saying can't connect - after rebooting both the phone...

Which Forum to Discuss "Your Phone" Issues?

This is why apps and devices need to have unique, creative names because searching for two common words "Your Phone" return useless results. The app has frequent issues stating "We can't connect to your phone - Make sure that your PC and phone are connected to the Internet" - even though both...

Still wondering where's Bing Maps on Android

Even in Edge on Android, if you type "http://www.bing.com/maps" it just takes you straight back to the bing.com homepage. Can we at least get an answer as to why this is? Is it definitively a licensing thing? or Google squashing Bing Maps and forcing you to use Google Maps? Supplement to...

Goodbye Cortana, Hello Alexa on Windows 10 PC from Acer, Asus, and HP

WTH, MS loses ground again in the consumer market. Was so hoping to see a fridge with Windows 10 or Cortana by now, but noooo.

    Looking past phones......

^^This x 2. Much as I'd like to continue to be loyal to MS, as I have been since Windows 2.x, I'm tired of being a Guinea pig, spending my hard earned money on devices that end up being killed and unsupported.

    Confused - Mix feelings.

Wife and I cut bait and got S8s on Black Friday. Loaded it up with Microsoft apps. It does the trick, and does it fast, and oooh the apps. Unless MS gets their sh*t together with a "category defining device" blah blah blah, doubt we'd go back. Got burned on the Band 2 - felt like a guinea pig...

    Outlook Mobile questions and suggestions

Thanks. Yes, same MS Launcher. I chatted with Support and they said we could be on two different Outlook versions being rolled out, and that I just have to wait. Strange though that our app versions are exactly the same, yet they roll out features not changing the version number??

    Outlook Mobile questions and suggestions

Wife and I made the switch from Lumia 950s to the Galaxy S8s, and have several questions about Outlook Mobile: 1) Can you zoom (2-pinch) in messages? Doesn't seem so? 2) Can you jump (is that what it's called?) around contacts in People by pressing the letters at left to choose A, B, C, D...

MS Launcher People Pinned Contact Icon

Is it possible to modify the icon for a pinned contact on the home screen? All you get by default is a letter in a circle and if you choose one of the other Launcher-themed icons, you lose the little phone added in the lower right corner. Seems they could enhance the options under Edit App Icon...

Hi, my name is...and I'm a Windows 10 mobile addict

Kids found my old Nino...what an awesome device. I had pcAnywhere on it and managed to do remote access for work. Been a loyal Windows Mobile follower since forever. But alas, my family with seven Windows Phones has finally thrown in the towel. Bought two Galaxy S8s on Black Friday. When the...

Microsoft Reportedly Testing New Phone With New Windows Mobile OS

Ugh, great...I ordered two S8's on Black Friday since they were discounted. Not looking forwarded to making the switch, but some of us have really reached the end of our rope. Have to say though that while I'm giving leeway to MS Customer Service probably having to hire a bunch of off-the-street...
