Thats what I'm doing but the drops weren't extreme or any cause for concern of a cracked screen I've had plenty phones that have taken far worse falls and never had any issues of this nature

It's a beast dont get me wrong but the drops that it has indured weren't extreme drops. the research I've done there are other cases like this leading with the mic going un and out and the capacitive touch buttons light going out. Some are saying its due too wp8.1 update which is not the case...

Long story short the phone is awesome but don't drop it because you're a bad tech owner and the phone can't take the abuse of minor accidental drops case or no case.
