After leaving the Band off for 30 minutes or so, I am seeing a reading of 22.4C but it is still dropping very slowly. Its not very scientific but the thermostat on our central heating is cutting in somewhere around 21-22C so I am guessing that the Band is displaying somewhere around 1C over ambient.

The original band had a temperature sensor but the results weren't displayed in many apps. I believe this is in the Band 2 as well as I don't think anything has been removed. The sensor seems to measure your body temperature rather than surrounding temperature though so probably doesn't do what...

Now showing 'Coming Soon' instead of pre-order. Does the UK not get to pre-order today then?

Link was on the main page at the top right (On the blue bar) and at the bottom just under the price. Both appear to have disappeared for the past 5-10 minutes so guess they have been taken down for the moment.

Is anyone else in the UK having problems with the Band pre-order link. Keep getting a mixture of a 404 error, the original Band purchase page or the UK Microsoft Store homepage?

Mine was a 19th March pre-order and I have just received my shipment notice. Only problem now is that I have been asked to go out to a customer site tomorrow when some kit arrives for them so the question is do UPS arrive with my Band arrive before the kit for site?

I pre-ordered mine back on the 19th March. The Order Status on the Microsoft Store shows my order as In Progress and no payment has yet been taken from my card and no update email has been received. Hopefully, as this is already available in the US, MS will be able to hit release dates on this...
